Joseph D. Gill

     Joseph D. Gill, 63, of Hinton entered into eternal rest Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Summers Healthcare Center following a long illness.

      Born February 10, 1961 at Hinton he was a son of the late John Ray and Ada Norene Foster Gill.

      Joseph was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church. He worked in landscaping and lawn care. Joseph loved hunting, listening to gospel music and spending time with family and friends.

      He was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Ann Miller and two brothers, John B. Gill and Donald Gill.

      Those left to cherish his memory include one sister, Frances C. Adkins; two brothers, Harless Gill and Roger Gill; several nieces and nephews and special nephews, Warren Ray Adkins, Carl D. Adkins and Richard W. Adkins and wife Donna.

      Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Monday, April 15, 2024 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor John Boothe officiating. Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery near Hinton. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Monday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
