Johnnie Lee Yancey Jr.

            Johnnie Lee Yancey Jr. 66, of Hinton entered into eternal rest Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Summers Healthcare Center in Hilldale following a long illness.           

            Born July 28, 1957 in Hinton he was the son of the late Johnnie Lee Yancey Sr. and Mattie Jean Bradberry Yancey.  Johnnie enjoyed bicycle riding and exploring.

            Survived by one son, Corey Adam Yancey of Wytheville, VA; two grandsons, Ryan Nicholas Yancey of Harrisonburg, VA and Jordan Thomas Yancey of Wytheville, VA and his friend, Anna Richmond of Hinton.

            Per Johnnie’s wishes cremation has been entrusted to the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors & Cremation Care Center.  There will be no services at this time.
