John "Johnny" Mann

     John “Johnny” Mann, 63 of Pence Springs went home to be with the Lord Thursday, September 8, 2022 at his home following a long illness.

     Born November 2, 1958 in Hinton he was the son of the late Venus C. and Emily Toney Mann.

     Johnny was a former Lineman for S&F Construction with 25 years of service. He enjoyed camping, fishing, the outdoors and riding motorcycles. Johnny was a life long resident of Summers County.

     He was preceded in death by one son, Nicholas Mann.

     Those left to cherish his memory include one son, John Cameron Mann and wife Rachel; one grandson, Paxton Grae Mann; four siblings, Virginia Kay Clarkson and husband Leonard, William “Ben” Mann and wife LaVone, Patricia Ann Waddell and husband Ronald and Regina Persinger and husband Leslie; two special friends he called family, Melinda Martin and Squeaky Walton and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

     Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Pence Springs Community Church with Pastor Roger Persinger officiating.  Burial will follow in the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Pence Springs. Friends may call from noon until time of services on Tuesday at the church.

     Pallbearers will be Cameron Mann, Leslie Persinger, Shawn Jones, Tyler Maltsberer, Bill Meadows and Bob Kruger.
