John Quincy Houchins Jr., 53, of Hinton, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at his home.
Born November 7, 1961 at Columbus, OH, he was a son of Jane Ellen Cox Houchins of Hinton and the late John Quincy Houchins Sr.
John was the former owner and operator of Houchins Body Shop in Hilldale. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Besides his mother, he is survived by three daughters, Cassondra Houchins and fiancé Derrick Wood of Talcott, Katelyn Elise Moore and husband Geoffrey of Bluefield, VA and Destiny Houchins of Talcott; four grandchildren, Keirston Truman, Jordan Truman, Rylan Moore and Kambree Moore; siblings, Pamela Mann of Talcott, Michael Houchins and wife Traci of Shady Spring, Janelle Meadows of Princeton and several nieces and nephews.
At John's request, his body has been cremated and there will be no services.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
