Jerry Lee Zimmerman

April 7, 1962 — February 18, 2022

Jerry Lee “Chip” Zimmerman, 59, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord, Friday February 18, 2022 following a short illness from Covid 19.

Born April 7, 1962 at Hinton he was a son of the late Drema Zimmerman.

Chip was  a member of the Hinton Gospel Tabernacle and a former employee of Wilson Tree Company and Minaqua Fish Farm.  He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and helping his neighbors.

Preceding him in death include his twin sons, Jerry and Gary; one sister, Diane Zimmerman; three brothers, Ronnie, Timothy, and Scott Zimmerman.

Those left to cherish his memory include his two children, Nathan Blackburn and Ashliegh Whelen; one brother, Donnie Zimmerman and wife Terri; five sisters, Tammy, Tonya and Sue Zimmerman, Jessica Darlene Smith, and Misty Meadows and companion Chris Gilbert; and a special friend, Tracy Woods.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating.  Burial will follow in the Smith and Graham Cemetery at Tug Creek.  Friends may call from noon until time of services Tuesday at the funeral parlors.  Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
