Jennifer Lynn May, 67, of Pipestem passed away Monday, September 14, 2026 at Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness.

Born April 13, 1959 in Welch she was a daughter of the late Billy Ray and Dorothy Frances Christian Strattis.

Jenny was a member of Pipestem Southern Baptist Church. She was a certified nursing assistant for several local nursing homes. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and spending time with her family.

Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Daniels and one brother, Billy Ray Strattis Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Edward May Jr. and wife Tabitha; four grandchildren, Tessa, Kaleb, Jerry and MaKayla; two great grandchildren, Nova and Hope; three siblings, Judy Payne and husband Freddy, Nicky Strattis and wife Susan and Katie Mullins and a special cousin, Pete Lucion.

At Jenny’s request there will be no services and a private family burial will be held at a later date.
