Jean Williams, 90, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 28, 2025 following natural causes.
Born December 9, 1934 in Alderson, she was a daughter of the late James and Nellie Mae West Humphreys.
Jean was a member of Flint Chapel Church and the Summers County Council on Aging. She was a homemaker who enjoyed shopping, yard sales, and spending time with people.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, George Williams; as well as siblings, Ruth McGuire, Juanita Vest, Jewell Allen, Meryl Humphreys, and James Humphreys.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Darlene Milam; two stepdaughters, Joyce Coad, and Anita Woods; two grandchildren, Daniel Crawford, and Melissa Burnett and husband Darrin; three great grandchildren, Abigail, Olivia, and Charlotte Burnett; and special niece, Sandra Cales. Several other nephews and nieces also survive.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Reverend Jim Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Alderson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of services on Tuesday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pall bearers.
