Janice Christine Willard Snyder

     JANICE CHRISTINE WILLARD SNYDER, 72, of Poca and Hinton, died on January 17th, 2024. She had been suffering from Alzheimer's disease. 

      She was born July 29th, 1951 in High Point, NC to Leslie and Margaret Willard. 

      She graduated from High Point Central High School in 1969 and was a majorette. After high school, she attended Bowman-Gray Medical School and graduated with a degree in Radiography. She had a 40 year career as an X-Ray tech at several Doctor's offices in the area and at Thomas hospital. She was also a stained glass artist, and made hundreds of beautiful pieces that can be seen all over the area. In addition to a degree in Radiography, she also left Bowman-Gray with her husband of 53 years, Scott. They lived all over NC in the 70's before settling in Poca, WV to raise their family. Janice was a wonderful person and mother who saw the best in everyone and wanted to help those with less than her. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. 

      She is survived by her husband of 53 years Scott, her two sons Russell and Christopher, and two brothers, Chris and Gene Willard of Charlotte. 

      Per Janice's wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no service.
