Jane Houchins

Jane Ellen Houchins, 76, of Bellepoint went home to be with the Lord, Friday, November 13, 2015 at Summers County Nursing and Rehab Center following a long illness.
Born January 12, 1939 at Hamilton, OH, she was a daughter of the late Elbert and Della Johnson Cox.
Jane was a homemaker and a member of the Bellepoint Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her dog Benji.
Preceded in death by her husband, John Q. Houchins Sr.; son, John Q. Houchins Jr.; two brothers, Frank and Albert Cox; and one sister, Margie Aufderheide.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Pamela Mann of Lowell, Michael Houchins and wife Traci of Shady Springs, Janelle Meadows of Princeton; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, John Lee and Steven Cox, both of OH; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
At her request, her body has been cremated.
