Jamie Lee Roberts

Jamie Lee Roberts, 19, of Peterstown passed away on July 7, 2026, doing what he loved most, fishing.

Born on March 2nd, 2007, he was a beloved son to mother Jessica Collins Roberts and father James Roberts of Peterstown, WV. He was also son to Jessica Quesinberry and husband Dameon Quesinberry of Bluefield, WV. He was a loyal brother to his sister Katelyn Hamm, and husband Jamison Hamm of Nimitz, WV, brother James Roberts, and partner Haley Sears of Lindside, WV, brother Randall Roberts, sister Jordan Roberts, brother Michael Roberts of Peterstown, WV and sister Alyssa Quesinberry of Bluefield, WV. He loved his niece and nephews more than life itself; Roman, Ivory, and Walker. He was the grandson to Terry and Patty Collins of Hanover, WV and Glen and Cindy Mitchem of Thomasville, NC. He was also loved by a number of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Brooks Roberts and grandmother Kathy Debbie Roberts

He recently graduated from James Monroe High School. Jamie was a hard worker and prided himself on making an honest living and started a career in landscaping and working at Bluefield University.

Jamie was an avid outdoorsman. He loved everything about nature, and you could always find him with a fishing pole or a bow in either hand. His story-telling abilities were unmatched. Whether it was about his latest catch or about his trip to the grocery store, he could tell a tell that had you on the edge of your seat. And he would find a way to make you laugh through it all. Most of all, nature is where he felt closest to God. People say that the devil can’t reach you in a tree stand and Jamie took that to heart.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Tim Spencer officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 am until service time on Saturday at the funeral parlors. Committal service and burial will follow at Mullins Cemetery on Crane Ridge near Avondale with Pastor Danny Bowles.
