James Russell Tickle, 64, of White Bluff, TN formerly of Hinton passed away Saturday December 6, 2014 at Horizon Medical Center of natural causes.
Born November 4, 1950 at Hinton he was the son of the late Donald Russell and Barbara Pauline Lucas Tickle. Member of the Hinton Masonic Lodge #62 AFAM, Retired United States Navy Veteran having served his country for 20 years during the Vietnam Conflict and Cold War, he enjoyed reading, watching television and spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.
Preceded in death by his brother, Michael Edward Tickle.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 38 years, Phyllis Lorraine Tickle of White Bluff, TN; two sons, Donald Russell Tickle II of Nashville, TN and James Michael Tickle of White Bluff, TN; four grandchildren, Devin Blake Tickle, Jonas Michael Tickle, Kylie Brooke Tickle and Samuel Kaisen Eaton; two sisters, Barbara Sue Murphree and husband Thomas of White Bluff, TN and Rebecca Ann McCoy and husband Ronnie of White Bluff, TN and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday December 12, 2014 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt and the Hinton Masonic Lodge #62 AFAM officiating. Burial will follow in the Spangler Cemetery at True with Masonic Graveside Rites. Friends may call from 5-7 pm Thursday at the funeral parlors.
Hinton Masonic Lodge #62 AFAM will serve as pallbearers.
