James Patterson

James Clyde Patterson, 61 of Midway, formerly of Summers County went home to be with the Lord Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Raleigh General Hospital following a long illness.
Born November 5, 1956 at Greenbrier County he was a son of the late Nelson Clyde and Barbara Ann Cale Patterson.
James was a construction worker who loved playing music. He was loved dearly by his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include, two sisters, Mildred Sue Rhodes and husband James and Carolyn Ruth Bennett and husband Lonnie; four nephews, Daniel Bragg, Willie Bragg, Travis and Jay Rhodes; one niece, Barbie Bennett; companion, Peggy Griffin and her daughter Jessica and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside service and burial will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Alderson Cemetery at Hix with Pastor Terry Weatherly officiating. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45 PM Wednesday.
