Iris Anita Plummer

     Iris Anita Plummer, 61, of Wayside went home to be with the Lord Saturday, January 6, 2024 at her home following a short illness.

     Born June 29, 1962 at Ronceverte she was a daughter of the late Ira and Myrtle Anna Deens Plummer.

     Iris was a former employee of Dollar General. She was a Christian. Iris was a homemaker who enjoyed the outdoors, being in the sun, her children and her grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her companion, David Keith Kellison and several brothers and sisters.

     Those left to cherish her memory include her three children, Ira Keith Kellison and wife Danelle, David Wesley Kellison and wife Autumn Crews and Amber Rose Kellison and her significant other Avery Romanello; seven grandchildren, Kyzac, Braelyn, Madilyn, Kaylynn, Andy, Jayden and Jayson; two siblings, Karla Hardin and Linda Downhour and husband Don; a special niece, April Deluna; a special nephew, J.R. Tillis; special friend, Jack Tillis; her beloved canine, Dottie and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

     Memorial services will be 12:00 P.M. Friday, January 12, 2024 at War Ridge Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Keith Fox officiating. Friends are asked to meet at the church to visit the family from 11:00 A.M. until time of services. At Iris’s request her body has been cremated.
