Helen Frances Hutchinson, 94, formerly of Forest Hill passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Sunbridge Pine Lodge Care and Rehabiliation Center in Beckley.
Born April 30, 1920 in Forest Hill she was a daughter of the late William Cleo and Anne Pyles Hutchinson.
Helen lived most of her life in Forest Hill. She was a member of the Forest Hill United Methodist Church where she attended as long as her health permitted. Helen was a caregiver who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Helen was preceded in death by six brothers, Charles, John, Lawrence, Ed, Noel and George Hutchinson.
Those left to cherish her memory include two nephews, Charles Hutchinson and wife Eloise of TX and Edward Hutchinson and wife Susan of FL; three nieces, Joyce Beauvais and husband Walton of OH, Karen Bonifacio and husband Doug of Beckley and Sharon Hutchinson of Hilldale and several great nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Jeff Canterbury officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery at Forest Hill. Friends may call from noon until time of services at the funeral parlors.
Friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses and caregivers at Pine Lodge as well as Southern WV Hospice.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Forest Hill United Methodist Church or the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
