Helen Louise Angell, 93, of Hinton passed away Wednesday September 30, 2015 at Raleigh General Hospital following a long illness.
Born January 14, 1922 in Summers Co. she was the daughter of the late Lindsay W. and Ocie Nabors Basham. A lifelong resident of Summers County and a member of the Beech Run Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth V. "Buck" Angell; three children, Delores, Kenneth and Ronnie; two brothers, James and Robert Basham and four sisters, Dorothy Bryant, Lillian Jackson, Evelyn Ailstock and Patsy Roberts.
Survived by her daughter, Ginger Bazzie and husband Mike; daughter-in-law, Donna of Goldsboro, NC; grandchildren, great grandchildren, two sisters, June Meadows of Hinton and Betty Giard of Big Springs, TX.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday October 5, 2015 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Sonny Angell officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 11:00 am until service time on Monday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
