Glenda Hedrick

April 13, 1961 — October 9, 2015

Glenda Ann Rudisill Hedrick, 54, of Wayside, WV, formerly of Pence Springs, went home to be with Jesus October 9, 2015 after a long and tiresome illness.
Ann was born April 15, 1961 in Pence Springs. She was a daughter of the late Glen B. Rudisill and Goldie Rudisill Wyrick.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Robert Rudisill; three half-brothers, Roy, Kyle, and John B. Rudisill; and one half-sister, Linda Henley.
Ann is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dale Hedrick; daughter, Valerie Ann Brodie and husband Ashley and two precious grandchildren, Kalea and Harper Brodie, who were her pride and joy, all from Australia; brother, Eddie Rudisill (Lisa); two half-brothers, Calvin Rudisill (Mary) and Jerry Sears (Susie); brother and sister in law, Steve and Diana Hedrick; mother in law, Lorene Cales (Bob); father in law, Preston Hedrick; and many other family members and friends also survive.
Ann was a faithful member of the Pence Springs Community Church for many years.
She wishes to thank her kidney donor's family for the extra years given to her.
Also special thanks to all who visited, called, sent cards, or brought food and especially for the prayers. Everything was truly appreciated. Also, our grateful thanks to Hospice for their faithful care.
It was her wish to be cremated. There will be a memorial service Sunday afternoon, October 18, 2015 at 4:00 PM at the Pence Springs Community Church with Pastors Roger Persinger and Robbie Merritt officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 PM at the church until time for the service.
