Glen Michael "Mikey" Israel Jr.

      Glen Michael "Mikey" Israel Jr., 40, of Coal City went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Raleigh General Hospital following a sudden illness.

      Born October 12, 1983 at Blytheville, AR he was a son of Glenn Michael Israel Sr. of Sevierville, TN and Darlene Yvonne Cook Israel of Coal City.

      Glen worked in telecommunications.   He enjoyed coin collecting, antiques and collecting antiques.

      He was preceded in death by one brother, Dustin Tuma; one uncle, Okey Thomas Cook Jr.; maternal grandparents, Okey Thomas Cook Sr. and Sylvia Hazel Kincaid Cook and paternal grandmother, Shirley Israel.

      Besides his parents, those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Arabella Elizabeth; two aunts, Beverly Evans and husband Mason of Coal City and Sherry Bolen and husband Chris of Coal City; paternal grandfather, William Israel; special friend, Megan Sizemore and several cousins, friends and relatives.

      Memorial services will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the Mabscott Holiness Church with Chris Bolen officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the church.
