Georgia Lowe

April 4, 1912 — August 10, 2005

Georgia Vernice Lowe, 93, of Jumping Branch went home to be with the Lord on August 10, 2005 at 12:51 A.M. following an extended illness. Born April 4, 1912 at Garden Ground in Fayette Co. she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Estee Wright Underwood. Mrs. Lowe was a lifelong resident of Jumping Branch and a member of the Bluestone Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Lowe; three children, Charles Fredrick Lowe, Mary Ellen Granam and Freddie Edwin Lowe; three sisters, Edith Vest, Connie Sluss and Mary Tolliver; six brothers, Arnett, Daniel, Osban, Charles, Herbert and Jack Underwood. Survivors include three sons, Arnold Lowe and his wife Geraldine of McAndrews, KY, Albert Lowe and his wife Paulette of Jumping Branch and Roy Lowe and his wife Debbie of Jumping Branch; one daughter, Louise Taylor and her husband Willie of Huddy, KY; a daughter-in-law, Gail Lowe of Jumping Branch; a son-in-law, Leroy Granam of Akron, OH; three brothers, Bill and Roland Underwood of Jumping Branch, and Benny Underwood of Baltimore, MD. Left also to cherish her memory are several grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 12, 2005 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastorâ??s Bill Fox and Elmo Alderman officiating. Burial will follow in the Sluss Cemetery at Mt. View. Friends may call from 6-9 P.M. Thursday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors. Family will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton
