Gary K. Huffman, 58, of Hilldale went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 11, 2018 at his home following a short illness.
Born August 22, 1959 at Hinton he was a son of Leota Williams Spade of Talcott and the late John Lee Huffman.
Gary was a member of the Rollynsburg Baptist Church, a former carpenter for Wykle Brothers Construction, groundskeeper at Willowwood Country Club, a construction worker for Diversified Enterprises, and former member of the Hinton Elks Lodge. He was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Besides his loving mother those left to cherish his memory include his children, Brian M. Huffman and partner Jessica Conner of Hinton, Magdeline R. Liddon of Huntington, Derrick E. Huffman and fiancé Breeanna Llewellyn of ND, and Dustin L. Huffman of Pence Springs; one granddaughter, Cali R. Liddon of Huntington; siblings, John Wayne Huffman of NC, Shirley Jean Ward and husband Dale of Clarksburg, Drema G. Dillon of Talcott, Teresa Willey and Bobby of Hilldale, Loretta Mae Trout and Husband James of Judson, and Joni Wickline of Talcott; two half brothers, Michael Grimmett and wife Amanda of Talcott and John Grimmett of Alderson; special friend and caregiver, Frances H. Huffman of Pence Springs.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Dana Stalnaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Talcott Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral parlors until time of services. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
