Garrison Lee Boone, 56, of Tempa passed away far too soon, Wednesday, March 25, 2026 due to a workplace tragedy.
Born February 1, 1970 at Hinton he was a son of Sharon Ann Woods Stewart of Clayton and the late Ellison Perry Boone.
Garrison was a very dedicated, hard working man who started his career with Lawrence Trucking in 1996, when the start of the “Loose Goose” began. He received many awards including Safety Excellence and the Million Mile Safety Award.
Garrison loved being on his farm, hunting, tinkering in his garage, spending time with loved ones and his wonderful friends. He was a very generous man and would truly reach in his pocket to hand you whatever and say, “take it.” He never wanted anyone to be without.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Glen and Bonnie Bell Wickline; paternal grandparents Buster and Leona Boone; stepfather, Harvard Pete Stewart; nephew, Billy Ray Richmond and his beloved dogs, Winston and Buck.
Besides his mother (also known as the mom of the Golden Child), those left to cherish his memory include his loving children, Joshua Boone, Jacob Boone and partner Kayley and Angel Boone and partner Taylor (also known as Taylor Swift); his grandbabies that he loved and cherished Makenzie, Colton, Nova, Axle, Kynnedi, Serenity, Everleigh, Haizlee, Teddy, Hadley and Mavis; the woman he loved so much he married twice, Jamie Boone; his much loved dog, Neo; sisters, Geneva Boone Daniel, Tina Boone Richmond and Tonia Pack Utsinger, whom was always a brunt of his jokes displaying his fun loving and mischievous side that made him who he was and always will be remembered as; many loving cousins, nieces and nephews and his extended family Juanita Wimmer, Janet Mize and their spouses and children.
The family would also like to mention those that treated him as his brother and family; Rodney, Stevie, Justin, Jody, Junior, Carl Wickline and his many friends on Judson/Clayton Mountain.
Garrisons wish was to not have a viewing/funeral but a celebration of life sharing his loving, caring, giving and funny side. He loved and was loved by many and would want nothing more than we all come together with his memories of joy and laughter.
