Frances Lilly Carroll, 90, of Jane Lew went home to be with the Lord March 30, 2018 at the home of her daughter in Louisa, KY following a short illness.
Born November 30, 1927 in Hinton she was a daughter of the late Paul S. and Mae Ward Lilly. A homemaker and an extraordinary mother she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, bird watching and spending time with her family and friends. She attended the Church of the Nazarene.
Preceded in death by her husband Samuel B. Carroll; one daughter, Judy Jean Richmond Young and two sisters, Pauline Lane and Jewell Massey.
Those left to cherish her memory include five daughters, Rebecca Carroll of Jane Lew, Samantha von der Heydt and husband Kevin of White Sulphur Springs, Bonita Leger and husband David of Pasadena, MD, Juanita Jean Evans and husband John Howard of Hanover, Pa and Tammie Mae Klein and husband Jeremy of Louisa, KY; one son, Thomas Brock Carroll and wife Dana of Woodbine, MD; fifteen grandchildren, Stephen, Alan, David, Suzanne, Marla, Nadia, Alyssa, Alayna, Michael, Brock, Brent, Brice, Lilly, Cori and Garrett; six great grandchildren, Jordyn, Nolan, Cambria, Annabelle, Caroline and Willow; one sister, Evangeline Keith of Princeton.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday April 4, 2018 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Friends may call from Noon until time of the services on Wednesday at the funeral parlors.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
