Frances H. Bennett, 84, of Bellpoint formerly of Nimitz went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 18, 2019 at Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Born in Raleigh County on December 8, 1934 she was a daughter of the late Myrtle Mills Lilly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Finley Bennett; a son, Steve Bennett; foster parents, Ernest and Athlene Lawson; foster brother, Jimmy Lawson; son in law, John H. Davis; brother in law, Jack Bennett and sister in law, Bonnie Wykle.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Teresa Bennett Davis of Bellpoint; daughter in law, Diana Bennett; two granddaughters, Deanna Carter and husband, Shaun of Washington and Melissa Jones and husband Josh of Parkersburg; four great grandchildren, Joshua and Haley Booth, Logan Hartshorn and Caden Haddox; three brothers, Lonnie Mills of White Oak, Ira Lilly and wife Joyce of White Oak and Keith Lilly and wife Vickie of White Oak; one sister, Shirley Lester and husband Ernie of White Oak; one foster brother, Sonny Lawson and wife Sandy of Summersville; two brothers in law, Glenn Bennett and wife Flossie of Lewisburg and Joe Bennett and wife Dot of Nimitz; five sisters in law, Marlene Hatcher of Teays Valley, Mary Houchins of Jumping Branch, Wilma Anderson and husband Leonard of Nimitz, Iva Kay Lilly and husband Jack of Lewisburg and Patsy Bennett of Lerona and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service and burial will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz with Pastor Bill Ballengee officiating. Friends are asked to meet from 1:30 P.M. until time of services at the cemetery.





Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
