Eva Mae Allen, 74, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord April 6, 2018 at her home following a sudden illness.
Born November 3, 1943 at Hinton she was a daughter of the late John and Ethel Irene Dick Willey.
Eva was a former employee of Hinton Family Dollar and Kentucky Fried Chicken. She volunteered at the Summers County Council on Aging and cared for elderly throughout Summers County. Eva enjoyed bowling, quilting, cross stiching and Elvis.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Dean Allen; brothers, Teddy, Charles and Bob Willey and one sister, Edith Adkins.
Those left to cherish her memory include four sons, John Wesley Ratliff Jr. and wife Sherry of FL, Keith Douglas Ratliff of TX, James Dean Allen and wife Jamie of CO and Matthew Charles Allen and wife Jennifer Dawn Martin of Farmington; seven grandchildren, Keith Philip Ratliff, Richard Alan Ratliff, Austin Gage Ratliff, Geoffery Angus Allen, Ian Morgan Allen, Nathanial Hunter Allen, Lora Mae Allen; two great grandchildren and one brother, Bill Willey of Zion Mtn.
At her request the body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
