Emory Gill

     Emory Gill, 72, of Raleigh, WV went home to be with the Lord, Saturday November 25, 2023 at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness.

     Born March 10, 1951 at Hinton, he was a son of the late Bernie Cecil and Gertha Elizabeth Ward Gill.

     Emory was a former truck driver, who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the outdoors.   He loved his grandchildren, cutting wood with his sons and grandsons and playing scratch off lottery tickets.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his three sons; James Edward Gill and wife Miranda, Jerry Gill and girlfriend Marlena Williams and Billy Joe Gill; Fourteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several brothers and sisters.

     Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Lonnie Turner officiating.  Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton.  Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of services Thursday at the funeral parlor.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
