Emily D. Mann, 74, of Hilldale, died Friday, January 6, 2006, at the Heartland of Rainelle, following a long illness. Born May 12, 1931 in Fayette Co., she was the daughter of the late Ben H. and Iva G. Walker Toney. Mrs. Mann had lived most of her life in Summers Co. She had worked at the Pence Springs Sewing Factory at Pence Springs, WV and at the Kelwood Sewing Factory in Greenbrier Co., she had also sold Avon for many years and worked in the Kitchen and the Railroad Depot Diner in Hinton. She attended the Griffiths Creek Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Venus C. Mann, December 11, 2004, one grandson, Nicholas Mann and one half-sister, Chris Lawson. Survived by two sons, Ben Mann and wife Lavonne of Darien IL and John Gilbert Mann and wife Teresa of Hilldale, three daughters; Patricia Waddell and husband Ronald of Peterstown, Regina C. Fox of Pence Springs and Kay Clarkson and husband Leonard of Cedar Bluff, VA, ten grandchildren; Sherry Shelton, Carey Clarkson, Scott, Cristy, Eric, Arielle and Cameron Mann, Jonathan Fox, Teresa Cyrus and Michelle Christen, ten great grandchildren and one half sister, Beulah (Katie) Davidson of Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Eddie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens at Hinton. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6-8 P.M. Her grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
