Elizabeth "Libby" Bengey Goins

     Elizabeth “Libby” Bengey Goins, 72, of Alderson went home to be with the Lord, October 23, 2022 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, surrounded by her loving family, following a long illness.

     Born April 15, 1950 in Hilldale, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Alice Smith Bengey.

     Libby was a 1968 graduate of Hinton High School. She was a member of the Old Greenbrier Baptist Church in Alderson. Libby was the former owner and operator of Bengey’s Beauty Shop in Alderson.

     Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Bengey.

     Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, Stephenie Shirley and husband Mark of Bunker Hill and Allison Bivens and husband Ryan of Charles Town; grandchildren, Connor Ellis, Luke Shirley, Logan Bivens, Jaxson Bivens and Macen Bivens; a sister, Nannie Miller and husband Mike of Jumping Branch and several nieces and nephews.

     A private family memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 7, 2022 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Jeff Canterbury officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
