Edward Lee Wills, 85 of Nimitz went home to be with his Savior Monday, December 18, 2017 at home following a short illness. Born October 26, 1932 at Jumping Branch he was the son of the late Oather and Bertha Wills.
Edward worked for the C&O Railway for 39 years traveling from Hinton to Clifton Forge, VA until his retirement as a conductor, proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and he was a member of the Little Bluestone Primitive Baptist Church.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his three sisters, Lena Wills, Myrtle Wills and Glenna Green.
Survived by his wife, Virgina "Jenny" Wills having spent 62 wonderful years together; one daughter, Brenda Wills of Nimitz; special niece, Margaret Ruffing of Bellevue, Ohio and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday December 20, 2017 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Elder Tommy Pack officiating. Edward will be laid to rest in the George Lilly Cemetery at Jumping Branch. Friends may call from 11:00 am until service time on Wednesday.
His nephews will serve as pallbearers with Ronald Lilly and Joe Willey serving as honorary pallbearers.
