Chubby loved mowing grass and working outside during his retirement years, and he especially enjoyed working with his brother-in-law, Jim Monroe, at the nursery.  He was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church where he served as custodian for many years.

He is preceded in death by his wife Betty Lou Boyd Halloran; daughter, Jo Ellen Richmond; two sisters, Alice Monroe and Marion Wallace and two brothers, Percy “Brud” Halloran and Billy Dan Halloran.
