Dorothy Maude Tabor, 86, of Marie passed away Tuesday March 17, 2015, at Summers Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born June 4, 1928, at Marie she was the daughter of the late Levi Jacob and Ottie Mae Hutchison Tabor. A lifelong resident of Summers County and a former Sales Clerk with Ames and Magic Mart. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, quilting and spending time with family and friends. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Preceded in death by three brothers, Connie, Ray and Virgil Tabor and four sisters, Anna Swepston, Bertha Gwinn, Mae Gwinn and Mildred Tabor.
Those left to cherish her memory include numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial will be held 2:00 pm Saturday March 21, 2015, at the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Linda Payton officiating. Family and friends may call from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy may be made to the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Patricia Young, 512 Greenville Road, Forest Hill, WV 24935.
