Donna Rae Berry, 68, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord May 3, 2011 following a long illness.
Born October 29, 1942 at Hinton she was the daughter of the late John Samuel and Elva Gladys Lilly Adkins. A homemaker and lifelong resident of Summers County, she was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother.
Preceded in death by her husband, Kester C. Berry; one brother, John Adkins and one niece, Deborah Sue Hunter.
Survived by one son, Timothy W. Berry and wife Patti of MD; one daughter, Theresa Berry-Yancey and husband Andy of Lynchburg, VA; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two brothers, Forrest Adkins of Hinton and Billy Joe Adkins of VA and two sisters, Kara Slusher of MD and Rose Hubbard of MD.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Rev. Jim Conyers officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday. Burial will follow at a later date.
