On Friday, August 15, 2025, Delma L. “Mee Maw” Ciesielski of Talcott heard the call of Jesus to come home, and “Mee Maw” answered.
Born February 27, 1935 at Barger Springs, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Viola Tabor Rudisill.
She was a member of the Rollynsburg Baptist Church where she loved all the wonderful people who attend. She was employed by Automatic Roll in Baltimore, MD and by Howard Johnson in Florida where she worked in housekeeping. Delma loved camping and the outdoors where she was an avid bear and deer hunter. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.
Delma was preceded in death by her husband, John Ciesielski; two sons, John Ciesielski Jr and Michael P. Stokes; three daughters, Misha Rathbone, Sandy Chips, and Debbie Furmanack; one grandson, Christopher M. Pakacki; three granddaughters, Crystal Calendine, Amy Calendine and Mindy M. Pakacki and a great grandson, Johnny Calendine Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Robert Pakacki and companion Doris Wheeler of Hilldale; two daughters, Diane Calendine of Pence Springs and Denise Pakacki of Talcott; daughter in law Gail Ciesielski of Hilldale; twenty-seven grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren; one brother, Chester Rudisill and companion Teresa Clayton of Lowell; and one sister, Brenda Rudisill of Lewisburg.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, August 18, 2025 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Barger Springs Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until the time of service on Monday at the funeral parlors.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
