Danny Ray Meadows

      Danny Ray Meadows, 63, of Alderson passed away April 7, 2024 at CAMC Memorial Hospital following a short illness. 

      Born October 5, 1960 at Hinton he was a son of the late Bobby Lee and Betty Jean Foster Meadows.

      Former self employed Flooring Installer and had lived most of his life in Virginia Beach and later retiring to Alderson.  Enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

      Preceded in death by three sisters, Barbara Chaney, Dixie Palmer, and Rita Fortner.

      Those left to cherish his memory include one brother, William R. Meadows and wife Kathy of Hinton and his family; companion, Clara Mitchell of Alderson; one special nephew, Eugene Folmer of Charlottesville, VA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.  

      At Danny’s request his body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
