Danny D. Richmond

     Danny D. Richmond, 74, of Elk Knob passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown following a short illness.

     Born March 25, 1948 at Hinton he was a son of the late George Estel and Berthal Calvert Richmond.

     Danny retired from the Department of Natural Resources at Pipestem State Park. He loved playing guitar and singing at church and the Senior Citizens Center.

     Danny was preceded in death by one son, Todd Richmond; one daughter, Tracie Richmond and siblings, James Richmond, Flora Cyrus, Harold Richmond, Gloria Grimmett, Debbie Richmond, Bobby Richmond and Betty Richmond.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 42 years, Flora Richmond; two grandchildren, Axle Cales and Amber Cales both of Hinton; three step children, Gina, Becca and Cindy all of Roanoke, VA; four step grandchildren; one sister, Freda Pennington; two brothers, Gene Richmond and Freddy Richmond and several nieces and nephews.

     At Danny’s request a memorial service will be held at a later date and his body has been entrusted to Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors & Cremation Care Center for cremation.
