Cosby D. Lilly Farley, 80 of Hinton died Monday May 23, 2005 in Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness. Born July 13, 1924 at Lilly in Summers County, she was the daughter of the late Elder Jefferson Levi ?Bun? and Mary C. (Lilly) Lilly. Mrs. Farley was a homemaker and was a Primitive Baptist by faith. She was an inspiration to all whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her husband Beecher Farley; Nine brothers, Ali, Levi, Lee, Oris, Floyd, Oliver, Prince, Beecher, and Granvil Lilly; Five sisters, Lemma Lilly, Oakley Basham, Orpha Hatcher, Margaret Hatcher, and Nola Farley. She is survived by her daughter Mary Farley Shrader Lambert and her husband Ike of Hinton, one sister, Claris Cox of Jumping Branch, one grandson teaching in Japan, Stephen Ray Shrader, sister-in-laws, Chloe Lilly and Irene Lilly, brother-in-law, Chester Farley and wife Virginia, and numerous much loved nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be at 2pm Friday, May 27, 2005 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call at the Funeral Parlor from 6 to 8pm on Thursday. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
