Connie Mable Berry Lane,76, passed away Saturday, February 2, at the Pinelodge Nursing Home in Beckley.
Born June 27, 1942 at Longbottom to the late Waymon and Stella Adkins Berry she was a homemaker and babysitter.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lane; three brothers, Beecher, Melvin and Kester Berry; two sisters, Priscilla Wheeler and Martha Bennett and five half sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Cox and companion Alan Waddell of Jumping Branch and Rhodetta Adkins of Hinton; two grandsons, Brandon Cox and wife Kim and children of Ohio and Jordon Richmond of Jumping Branch; two great grandchildren she helped raise, Dakota and Lindsey Adkins of Hinton; three sisters, Carmen Berry of Hinton, Lanie Belle Bennett and husband Bobby and Corene Sears of Beckley and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of services at the funeral parlors.
The family would like to thank the staff of Pinelodge Nursing Home for the outstanding care given to Connie during her stay there.
Grandsons, family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
