Charles A. "Abie" Lilly, 77, of Talcott went home to be with the Lord, Friday June 26, 2015 in the Princeton Community Hospital following a short illness.
Born June 27, 1937 at Beckley he was a son of the late Abraham Armstead and Audie Cozort Lilly.
He was the owner and operator of Abie's Market in Bellepoint for 40 years; a member of the Rollynsburg Baptist Church and most recently had attended the Faith Baptist Church in Pence Springs. Abie enjoyed farming, fishing, the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
Abie is preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Lilly.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Charles Abraham Lilly Jr. and wife Anna of Athens, Lynn Jan Pence of Princeton, and Charlie Lilly and wife Melissa of Alderson; grandchildren, Matison Baker and Memphis Lilly, Christopher and Haley Pence, Shylyn and E.J. Washington; one sister, Audrey Neale of Barboursville; one brother, Ezra Lilly and wife Karen of Ronceverte; many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday July 1, 2015 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor J.D. Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery at Powley's Creek. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
