Cathy Sue Roberts, of Shallotte, died Sunday, February 15, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Roberts was born on November 18, 1964 in Hinton, W.Va., a daughter of the late Bobby and Patricia Adkins.
Cathy earned her degree in nursing but later found her true calling in cosmetology, most notably, Salon on Carmel and Park 51 Barber & Styling.
Surviving are her husband, Frank Lee Roberts; two stepsons, Jonathan Holt Roberts, and wife, Amanda, Sheridan, WY, and Sean Matthew Roberts, and partner, Brad, of Waxahaw, NC; brothers, Bobby Adkins, of Virginia, and Kenny Adkins, of West Virginia; sisters, Brenda Smith, Joyce Burleson, Becky Hammonds, and Tina Hammonds, all of West Virginia.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at noon on Tuesday, February 24th in the Ronald Meadows Funeral Chapel, Hinton.
The family request in lieu of flowers memorials be directed to a charity of one's choice.
