Carroll Cole

Carroll Charlton Cole, 86, of Sand Knob Road Nimitz, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 25, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born May 20, 1932 at Hinton, he was the son of the late Hobert H. and Edna Gray Charlton Cole.
Carroll served his country proudly during the Korean Conflict with the United States Army. He was a self employed carpenter and member of the Carpenter's Local Union #1911 and enjoyed golfing, his animals, gardening and spending time with his family. Carroll was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Preceding him in death is one son, Dale Cole.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 63 years, Remantha Ann Cole at home; his children, Timothy Cole and wife Gale of Nimitz, David Cole and wife Becky of Zion Mountain, Kay Wright and husband Wayne of Nimitz, Joan Lane and husband Calvin of Jumping Branch, Deborah "Lynn" Price and husband Michael of Denver, NC, Stephen Cole and wife Katie of Marie and Jennifer Leslie Cole of Murrells Inlet, SC; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and his beloved canine, Ramey also survive.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Sonny Angell officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 11:00 AM Tuesday until time of services at the funeral parlor. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
