Carolyn S. Brookman McKinnney Campbell, 70, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 24, 2018 at Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a long illness.
Born July 28, 1948 at Peterstown she was a daughter of the late James and Clara Brookman Bryson and William Basil Hodge Sr.
Carolyn was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Carolyn was preceded in death by one son, James Dwayne McKinney.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Angela C. McKinney Ellison of Hinton; two grandchildren, Taran T. McKinney of Hinton and Harleigh J. Ellison of Hinton; one sister, Wanda J. Hodge Williams Lester of White Sulphur Springs; one brother, William Basil Hodge Jr. of Covington, VA; special aunt, Lena Jean Brookman of Hilldale and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Brother Victor Garcia officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Burial Park in Hinton. Friends may call from noon until time of services on Friday at the funeral parlors.
Pallbearers will be Taran McKinney, Nicholas Bennett, Tré Ford, Jacob Woodrum, Jaxson Woodrum and Corey Austin Bennett.
