Carl Richard Mize

Carl Richard Mize, 70, of Green Sulphur Springs passed away July 19, 2025. Born December 1, 1954, in Hinton. He was the son of the late George Howard and Vera Russell Mize.

Carl was an avid outdoorsman who loved riding motorcycles and hunting arrow heads and morels. He loved animals more than people, but none the less he was kind to anyone he met.

Survived by the mother of his children, Debbie Gill; two daughters, Sherri Mize Gill and Natasha Mize Bullion; three grandchildren, four sisters, one brother and nieces and nephews who all loved him.

Graveside Service and burial will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Halidon Cemetery at Green Sulphur Springs with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery from 12:30 pm until time of services.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
