Brenda Hicks, 60, of Hinton passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at CAMC General Division following a short illness.
Born at Dublin, CA she was a daughter of Elizabeth "Betty" Davis of Sandstone and the late Edward Richmond.
Brenda was a homemaker who enjoyed flowers and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Hicks and one sister, Rosa Lee Hackathorn.
Other than her mother those left to cherish her memory include two brothers, Chuck Richmond and wife Wanda of Sandstone and Gerald Richmond and companion Lorie Fox of Judson; two sisters, Nancy Minor and husband Mark of NC and Teresa Richmond of NC; special uncle, Bobby Gunter and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Wesley Richmond officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery at Sandstone. Friends may call from noon until time of services Saturday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
