Bobby C. Meador, 71, of Hinton entered into eternal rest Thursday, September 8, 2016 at his home following a long illness.
Born August 6, 1946 at Hinton he was a son of the late Cecil M. and Mary Etta Cook Meador.
Bobby was in the Retired Laborers' International Union of North America - Local # 453. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gambling, watching westerns and was an avid, faithful Cubs fan. He was of the Christian faith.
Bobby was preceded in death by two brothers, Earnest Meador and Fred Meador and two sisters, Garnett Cox and Betty Fox.
He is survived by his three children, Lisa Irene Meador of Hinton, Rooster Meador and Companion Heather Boggs of Hinton and Billy Trivett Jr. and Companion Diane of Pence Springs; two grandsons, Rocky Meador and wife Melissa of Forest Hill and Dalton "Bubba" Meador of Hinton; seven stepchildren; four step grandchildren, Zach George, Bull Trivett, Kayla Smith, John Smith; one sister, Millie Wooldridge, Waynesville, OH; two brothers, William Meador and wife Oralene of Lebanon, OH and Donald Meador and wife Patty of Hinton; brother in heart, Frank Meadows and wife Marie; several nieces and nephews and true friends, Artie Sanda Jr. and Dennis "D.K." Bragg.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Pete Cook and Father Ray Landicho officiating. Burial will follow in the Farley Cemetery at River Ridge. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
