Betty Ward, 73, of Geneva Ohio formerly of Meadow Creek went home to be with the Lord Friday, December 7, 2018 at her home following a long illness.
Born May 8, 1945 in Indiana she was the daughter of the late Ollie Hall. Mrs. Ward was a homemaker who loved attending church, playing bingo and traveling while her health permitted. She loved spending time with her husband, family and friends.
Preceded in death by one brother, Johnny King.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 55 years, Jimmie Ward of Geneva, OH; four children, Tammy Ward of Ashtabula, OH, Jimmie Ward Jr. and wife Krissy of Ashtabula, OH, Melody Jones of Geneva, OH and David Ward Sr. of Ashtabula, OH; four grandchildren, Jimmie Ward III, Haley Ward, Hayden Fry all of Ashtabula, OH and David Ward Jr. of Geneva, OH; four siblings, Eleanor Childress of Elkhorn, KY, Randy King of Nottingham, PA, Leonard King of Perry, OH and Brenda Bartone of Geneva, OH and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm December 11, 2018 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors with Rev. Dennie Land officiating. Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery near Hinton. Family and friends may call from Noon until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
