Arthur W. Freeman, 64, of Ballengee formerly of Pipestem passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at his home following an apparent heart attack.
Born July 3, 1952 at Hinton he was a son of the late Walter and Marie Petrey Freeman.
Arthur was a carpenter and a lifelong resident of Summers County. He enjoyed leaf blowing, auto mechanics, spending time in his garage and lending a helping hand to all his friends and family.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 43 years, Twilla D. Adkins Freeman at home; one son, Adam Freeman and wife Louise of Ballengee; one grandson, Elye Grimmett of Ballengee; two sisters, Phyllis White and Nadine Bowles both of Lerona and two nephews, Darrell Bowles of SC and Shannon White of Lerona.
A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, May 1, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel. A memorial service will be held Monday at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. At Arthur's request the body has been cremated.
