Anthony Shaun Romanello, 47, of Forest Hill went home to be with the Lord where all his family that preceded him were waiting with open arms, Friday, September 12, 2025 at Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital following a tragic accident.
Born February 10, 1978 in Cleveland, OH, he was a son of the late Cecil A. and Burnice Meadows Romanello.
Anthony was a former EMT and CNA. He had worked for BF Goodrich for 17 years. Anthony was a handyman who could fix just about anything. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church who enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. Anthony was everyone’s superhero, always there to help when it was needed.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Kaye Romanello; one brother, Brent Romanello; one nephew, Brian Christopher Romanello and his father in law, Thomas “Tommy” Huffman.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife and childhood sweetheart of 33 years, Tommi Lynn Huffman Romanello; two children, Avery Romanello and companion Amber Kellison and Laken Romanello and fiancé Ethan Cody; two grandchildren, Madilyn and Kaylynn; one bonus daughter, Autumn Hudson and companion Aaron; two siblings, Elizabeth Ann Romanello and companion Mark Borcher and Carol Horney and husband Sonny; his mother in law, Joyce Huffman and a host of nieces, nephews, in laws, cousins, and dear friends too numerous to mention that he loved dearly.
A Celebration of Anthony’s Life will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Speaker Victor Garcia officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Burial Park near Hinton. Visitation will be from noon until time of services on Thursday at the funeral parlors.
Trent and Jeff Wysocki, Justin and Matthew Romanello, Nick Horney and Ethan Cody will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be: Cayden Weis, Bruce Weis Jr., Karl Koenig, Josh Shrewsbury, Josh Lilly, Dwayne Myers and Larry Costa.
