Anna Jane "Ruth" Martin, 79, of Talcott, passed away August 7, 2015 at Summers County Nursing and Rehab following a long illness.
Born May 9, 1936 at Judson, she was a daughter of the late Waitman Esco and Ethel Mae Grimmett Martin and lived most of her life at Boone Creek, Judson.
Ruth was a member of Rollynsburg Baptist Church where she faithfully attended as long as her health permitted. She enjoyed gardening, reading her bible, taking pictures and most of all being outside.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Pansy Fox, Regina Martin and Mona Roach; brothers, Henry Martin, Woodrow Martin, William Martin, Kenneth Martin and Elliott Martin.
She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 10, 2015 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Dana Stalnaker officiating. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 11:00 A.M. until time of services. Burial will follow in the Elk Knob Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
