Alice F. Gray, 77, of Hinton, died Sunday October 2, 2005 in the Princeton Community Hospital at Princeton following a long illness. Born April 15 1928 at Green Sulphur Springs, she was the daughter of the late Giles â??Akieâ?? and Sadie F. Gill Bowles. She was a homemaker and had lived all her life in Summers Co. Preceded in death by her husband Willard Gray, one son David Dale Gray, one sister Mary Maydell Ward, two brothers: John F. â??Danaâ?? Bowles and Willie L. Bowles. Survived by two daughters: Patsy Massey Keaton of Hinton and Mary Cales and husband Tom of New Castle, VA, two sons: Jimmy Gray at home and Curtis Gray and wife Dottie of Hinton, nine grandchildren: Mike Massey and wife Patty, Roger Massey, Prescilla Blankenship, Becky Massey, James â??Chesterâ?? Cales and wife Teresa, Donny D. Cales and companion Katrina, Asenath Cales, Christopher Gray, and Anthony Gray. Nine great grandchildren: Heather, Joshua, Corey, Mike Jr., Roger II, Nicole, Jessie, Donnie Jr. and Harlo, one great great granddaughter, Jasmine and two brothers: Carl Bowles of NC, and Corneilius O. â??Teddyâ?? Bowles of VA. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Wednesday October 5, 2005 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Lawrence Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Fox Cemetery at Brooks. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors. Chris Smith, Jonathan Smith, Deke Smith, Donnie Cales, Danny Berry, and John Gill will serve as pallbearers.
