Alice Frances Carter, 64, of Rainelle went home to be with the Lord Sunday, November 1, 2026 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

Born June 3, 1962 in Hinton she was the daughter of the late Pete and Wilma Weiss Weikle and stepmother Diane Weikle.

Alice was a former CNA, homemaker, and enjoyed listening to music as well as playing with her dogs.

She is preceded in death by one sister, Pameila Adkins.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Roger Carter; two daughters, Jessica Morris and Tasha Hayhurst; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers, David, James, and Darren Weikle; one sister, Donna Adkins; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Friday, November 6, 2026 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Johnny Boothe officiating. Burial will follow in the Elk Knob Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of services Friday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
