Albert "Wayne" Ward

Albert “Wayne” Ward, 52, of Judson passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022 following a long illness.

Born November 5, 1969 at Hinton he was a son of the late Albert William Ward and Anna Jane Thompson Ward of Judson.

Wayne was a lifelong resident of Summers County. He was a timberman and a logger. Wayne enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and ginsenging.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Faye Ward.

Besides his mother, those left to cherish his memory include four sisters, Virgie Jollay of Burlington, NC, Brenda Ellis of Jumping Branch, Karen Parker and husband Johnny of Trenton, OH and Connie Weidner of Hix and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Benny Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Friend Ward Cemetery at Hix. Friends may call from 11:30 A.M. until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
