Alan Lee Harvey

     Alan Lee Harvey, 62, of Princeton formerly of Hinton passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at his home with his wife following a long illness.

     Born September 15, 1960, in Hinton he was a son of Mary M. Allen Harvey of Ashford, WV and the late Alva L. Harvey.

     Alan was a member of Calvary Baptist Church at Red Sulphur Springs and was a 1978 graduate of Hinton High School.  He was retired from the Pepsi Bottling Co. with 35 years of services and loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

     Besides his father he is preceded in death by his sister, Donna Harvey; one brother-in-law, Jim Ellington; father and mother-in-law, Bob “Popeye” and Marie Myers.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 38 years, Sue Ann Myers Harvey of Princeton; one son, Travis Lee Harvey and wife Lexi of Morgantown; one sister, Thelma L. Wylie and husband Mark of Ashford; three nephews, Tyler, Clay and Ian; one special sister-in-law, Marcia Myers-Ellington of Hinton. 

     Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Sunday, February 26, 2023, at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Andy Howdock and Robbie Merritt officiating.  Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery near Hinton.  Friends may call from noon until time of services Sunday at the funeral parlors.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
